Working Safely with Compressed Air (Gory Story) Employees have key responsibilities as it relates to their own personal safety and following the rules and procedures. Prior to connecting to any compressed air system employees are required to inspect the compressed air system, all hoses, equipment and tools to be used. In addition employees must empty drains and taps according to the adopted schedule.
