Course Overview

OSHA stresses the importance of reporting and investigating incidents that cause injury or illness on your job sites. An incident is an occurrence during work that resulted in injury, illness, or property damage. The purpose of an incident investigation is to uncover the root cause of the occurrence and assign corrective actions so that your employees feel safe at work. This is not about assigning blame.

The investigation and tracking of incidents allow your company to understand safety risks and proactively use training or interventions to prevent future incidents. In this program, we will dig more into the proactive ways to address incidents.
